@Uno-kun: He has a slimline PS2. The Magic Key doesn't apply; it's only for fat slot-loading PS2s.
@Vic Viper: The tissue mod is basically the cheapass mod for blocking out the sensor on the slimline PS2 that detects whenever the cover is open like what the Magic Tool's supposed to do. It effectively turns a slimline into the equivalent of a fliptopped fat PS2.
