If it WON'T work, can someone point me in the right direction for a ps2 slim laser replacement specifically for the JP ps2? | As far as I can tell, its the same laser between US PS2 and JP PS2, so go ahead and try to replace the laser "properly" with a US laser if you can
But before you try that, try the nail polish remover cleaning trick. Worked for my US PS2, reads discs like a champ now.
