Being that I do console repairs for a living, this does not surprise me other than the fact of the age of said person doing this. I've seen much "odder" things shoved into the wii drive:
"three" discs stacked one atop the other
a PSP UMD
camera memory card
coffee cup (handle inserted into drive feed)
pencil
a game with the instruction book
kool aid packet
an assortment of gamecube games (more than 3 mind you, before someone comes and says "they're supposed to go in hur hur)
I will say I had a nice chuckle from that.
