I'm guessing all I'd do is wedge some spacers (some card stock or something close) between the rubber sensor mounts and the rubber sensors themselves... not sure if there's going to be any underlying problems with this solution. |

Anyway... I feel like you might want to post this question on ph-online.net, which has a few more arcade machine owners on there, but I think there's 1 or 2 here who can answer your question as well.
