Flying into Colorado Springs would cost just a tad bit more expensive than to fly into Denver, which is roughly 70 Miles north.

Current Expedia flights from Ft. Myers, FL - Colorado Springs are around $300 RT for the 16th-19th right now, and through Denver instead you can grab them for around $150, which is half the price.
I don't know if this is the right airport (I've flown into 2 different ones down there, so no clue which one you meant xD)

As for a ride from Denver, if there are enough people coming in on Friday night, I can provide transportation for about 4 people in my car, and I'm sure my friend Devin can fit 4 or so more in his car. Hopefully people'll return on Monday (make it easier for transportation needs).

tl:dr ver.: Fly into Denver. It's an hour drive past there, but worth it for the money you'd save. NO GEICO PUNS INTENDED.

I'm working on hotels right now too, I think I can find a nice discounted hotel for folks if they need it.
