Well this afternoon, about an hour earlier, i bought DDR X for the PS2 which came with the dance pad.

But when i got home and tried it out and entered the game, the selection kept on spinning and spinning non-stop.

so this makes it so that it's impossible to even select anything let alone play....

When i plugged in my PS2 controller though, it didn't have any problem (though i couldn't scroll up and down for the songs), and the spinning problem stops the moment i unplug the Dance Mat from the PS2

so i'm really hoping someone can help me on this... what can i do?

I live in Canada so sending it to the warranty would be difficult since i need to dial long distance to the warranty office which is in the US.

does anyone know what i can do to solve the problem? i don't want to just waste 40 bucks.
