I don't think names can be too long, but the filenames don't normally determine what shows up. The #TITLE and #ARTIST do. So, you could try shortening them.

Also, there's no cache file to delete per se, but you could try moving everything out of the folder, start DTXMania, let it detect a whole lotta nothin', then put the stuff back in and retry.
