You can use DoReMi (keyboardmania emulator) which will work with all versions of midi keyboards on the computer,

if you get for PS2 keyboardmania 2nd & 3rd mix (two games joined into one) you can use a midi keyboard HOWEVER to connect it you MUST use a yamaha MIDI->USB Converter UX-16. I just ordered one cost me AUD$150. However this could be a good investment because the MIDI->USB will work also for connecting drums for drummania and will work for any midi instruments connecting them to the computer.
