Been playing since 2001 and can't beat many 10's. Don't really care, I went onto doubles instead (where' I'm up to 8's) as well as back to 5-key beatmania and 10-key doubles - which actually helps with IIDX surprisingly because even on difficulty setting 1 it's harder than IIDX on 4, and the note charts rarely have any similarity to IIDX's. Double on bm is even weirder as two right turntables completely destroys the 14-key strategies - you quite often have to scratch the left side with your right hand, I find.
It'd be interesting to try some 10's and 11's now, considering the 5-key thing. I swear it does help though, you think you're failing when you're actually at 98%. |
