I always think the charts you enjoy the most should be those one or two level below your limit.

I can pass a few 11s now, and I enjoy playing 9s and some easy 10s.

Being able to read the chart so well that you can concentrate on timing should be the main factor which contributed to the enjoyment. You have no worries failing, just play as good as you can. Kind of like"pwning" the chart.

It's also fun when I try out a song I normally fail but suddenly I'm able to pass it. I can actually read the chart and hit the corresponding keys which I couldn't before, it's like pushing myself to the limit and enjoying the rush. This happened to me mainly when I started getting into 11s, I just don't expect to clear one but BAM and passed with an A.
