Indeed, unless of course your HDTV is a Panasonic Viera (at least G10/10th gen) or a Sharp Aquos with Vyper Drive.
Other than that and the experience is unbearable (this coming from someone who has tried IIDX RED PS2 on a Samsung LCD TV R81 and I tell you, the experience is so bad that you can actually fail songs because of it
