There are plenty of players out there who can get equal scores with the 1p side, however there are a larger majority seen playing 2p side.
I'm right handed, and I play 1p side. - You could always switch it up, as its a good idea to become versatile with your playing style that way. - but in no way is it necessary and or better.
Its all just what feels best to you, and what you learned on. |

Pretty much these explanations as well as the other explanations would suggest such. However, I would not suggest a permanent change of playstyle.........but rather as pointed out, to try playing on the other side to add to your versatility. In my case, I'm mainly a 1P side player who plays with two hands.....but sometimes I play one-handed (1P side) as well as play on 2P side (so that my 1P-side friends can battle with me). In very rare cases, I also play double.
So yeah, learn another playstyle to add to your versatility and flexibility.
Or something like that......
