You can see my view on 5 key in the profile. I grew up on 5 key, and own what is probably the biggest collection of 5 key stuff around (including 12 of 13 complete 5 key upgrade kits, etc.
That said, there are songs I love in 5-key (overdoser driving dub mix, love's theme to beatmania, emotion romantic mix, quickening, etc). The charts are so different it is fun to play. I also play III and IIDX, but as these games get farther away from 5-key I enjoy 5 key more and more.
