Depending on how long or big your fingers are, extending your left pinky (whilst your left thumb is at 3) can be a painstaking chore if you are playing on a controller with arcade-sized dimensions.
Easiest way is to just isolate (based on the technique that DJ MASA uses)
scratch/TT = any part of finger of left hand
3 = right thumb
4 = right middle
5 = right ring
Actually, for keys 3 4 5, you can actually use any finger or any positioning you want with your right hand (it's up to you). The only key concept here is that your during these patterns (scr+3+4+5), your left and right hands must be isolated (left hand does scratch/TT; right hand does keys).
