The fact that they can't include Drummania really hurts; DM is by far the more forgiving game, and a large part of why I didn't toss 3rd/2nd and 4th/3rd in the trash after three weeks.
Y'know what? I don't care. If it succeeds, great. If it flops, at least they tried, which is more than Pop 'n Music or Drummania is ever going to get. The thing is, nobody has any idea how big a detriment being seen as a GH ripoff is going to be. Seems to me that for something this offbeat, any name recognition will help more than hurt. Anyway, if the American market isn't ready for something like this, that's just how it is. It won't stop me from enjoying Masterpiece Silver one bit.
I can understand hoping and praying for IIDX 7th Style to be a success because there was so much at stake there. I can't say the same for this little speculative venture.
