This is what I always figured, so I never really questioned the autocorrect if it's keeping them out of trouble.
It'd be nice if it was an option, but I don't mind it that much. Puts a greater emphasis on timing, over key accuracy. You also can't seem to overly rely on it when there's a lot of chords going around.
