It's thanks to my mom that I'm into DDR now, as she bought us Hottest Party 1 along with 4 dance pads for Christmas last year.
One fond memory I have for the first Hottest Party is looking forward to random challenges of a random COM to "tokyoEVOLVED". For shame, yes, I tried most of the challenges with a controller, but it was finally on foot that I manaed to scrap a B just about 1500 points higher than the COM. I didn't unlock tokyoEVOLVED, but it sure became a great feeling.
Another one I have is that rather than doing the actual stepping, I'd have one of my sisters do the dance-pad when they wanted, and I'd dance along with the dancers on stage. I enjoy every day that I dance like that, on HP1 or 2.
