or to rebuild iso's
isobuster, cd/dvd generator, and apache2
never once have i been able to run a game perfectly smoothly. there will always be some minor flaw at best.. whether it be the video and audio skipping here and there, or just flat out freezing on load screens.. and sometimes, i can run the game and it wont play smoothly but i can shut it off and try it again and it may or may not work better the second time around, so it's very inconsistent
i followed all the instructions to rebuild ISO's and that's what ive been doing although i dont really understand it's purpose other than making the ISO smaller (minimizing the size of dummy files)
i mean ive had swap magic for a while now so it's not like i'm frusterated from it not working the first time i've tried it out, i expect it. i dont think im in the position to blow any money off on any nicer mods either, so i just have to work with what i have | 1. I hope to hell these are legal backups.
2. Since you have a Fat PS2, Your better option might be to skip discs altogether and use the SwapMagic to install HDLoader to a memory card and then use a 300 or so GB hard disk in your bay to do the dirty work of storing and loading your games. I do this and Its freaking nice. I copy all my PS2 games to my hard drive on my PS2 because it makes them load superquick (except for games that load insanely slow on disc, because there's another reason for that shit). I have Instant Gradius V. What more could you ask for?
