That's probably internet play given the delay at the beginning. Local play starts more quickly.

Well in any case, I did notice that long-delay as well whenever I selected online play (it took around 30 secs to a minute) before I could get to play my song. Though isn't it because it's waiting for entry from the other cabinets that are linked to it (i.e. where I played in Kwun Tong in Hong Kong, they had four machines connected to each other).
Well I dunno that much really hehe.........
