Hey, my name is Joey. I’ve lurked here a bit and finally feel like posting something, so I guess I’ll introduce myself.
I got into rhythm games through DDR (I’m so unique, huh?). A friend of mine owned 3rd mix and it was a ton of fun, so my brother decided to get a Japanese PSX and 4th mix, which had just come out. I never got too serious until recently, though; I played on a soft pad and on the occasional arcade with my friend Comet until MAX 2 came out, then I started to lose interest. I now am getting back into it as a fun way to do cardio, and have also gotten more serious about improving my scores. I also play Technika as of late, and dabble in DJMP, if only to learn Technika songs.
I go to UCLA, so if anyone else goes there and sees me in the arcade playing Technika say hi; I’m 6’3’’ and have long-ish blond hair. I hope to be spending my zero week there, should funds allow it
