Alright guys, I will be hosting a technika tourney on the 3rd of October at noon. Registration will start at 11am. Any comments/questions related to the Technika tournament can be posted here.
Rules will be just like 8otb's tourney, so I'll just copy it here:
MOST CURRENT TOURNAMENT RULES (subject to change):
DJ Max Technika: $5 registration
-This will be a gauntlet-style tournament.
-Each round will consist of a pre-determined 3 song (Pop mode) set. Sets will not be announced until the start of each round.
-During the first round, people will play in a random order.
-Scoring is determined by cumulative money scores (aka total score.)
- In the event of a fail-out, only the songs that the player cleared will be counted towards their total score.
-All participants play the same song(s) in each round, and the people with the lowest scores get eliminated. From that point on, the people with the lowest advancing scores will play first, and the ones with highest advancing scores play will last.
-Elimination will depend on the amount of participants. Regardless, the second to last round will consist of the top 4 people, and the final round will consist of the top 2 people. Semi-finals and finals will be played on Technical mode.
