Whee, so I went here last night.

I got there at about 6:00P.M., and there was no one playing any of the BEMANI machines, so it was basically free-reign for me. I played Pop'n Music first. I was really surprised at how loud they had the volume up, haha. It was pretty hard getting used to the big controller, but it was actually a lot of fun. I got to the point where I could pass songs in the high 20's.

Then I played EMPRESS, which was also a lot of fun. I didn't do too good at first because the distance between the keys and the turntable was a little bit farther than on the home controller and it kinda threw me off. I got the hang of it eventually, but still didn't do as well as I do on CS (and was kind of embarrassed because everyone else who played was really good D: ).

I also played a surprising amount of Drummania. I have the KOC for this game, but could never really find a stand that made playing all that fun. But the AC version was super fun! I wasn't really that good though, I think the best I could do was somewhere in the 30's.

Some people came in later that night that seemed like BEMANI players. There was a guy with a "Wii" cap and another guy with black hair. They both mostly played EMPRESS (and, like I said, were way better than me), but the black haired guy was also pretty killer at Drummania. I kinda wanted to talk to them to see if they were from here and make friends, but I was too shy and didn't wanna bother them. Although I did ask the black haired guy how to change difficulties on Drummania (thanks for that!) after which I promptly got my ass kicked on イジワルなあなた ADV.

Anyways, I had to leave earlier than expected so I didn't get to see if anyone else came. Maybe next time I won't be so shy and try to actually talk to people :C. After all, my main goal was to try and make friends there.

Maybe I'll come again on Saturday, eh?

EDIT: Oh yeah, also, let me commend AI on their prices. I put $10 in their token machine and played for 2 and a half hours (mind you, I barely did any waiting on any of the machines I played either) and still left with about 10 tokens in my pocket.
