I'm asking this before I receive it in the mail, which should happen within the next week or so. Would this game have any issues running the usb key or anything else? I read somewhere that there were problems like this on Windows 7. Also, I don't have much intention playing online so is there some kind of single player mode without network? Sorry if that's sounding nooby, but I'd like to know. Thank you. |
I'll leave the part about W7 for W7 users to answer you. And yes, it has a few single-player modes (Stage Mode, Free Mode and Mission Mode). In fact, most Trilogy players dwell in those single-player modes trying to achieve discs and clear missions that you can hardly find any souls in the network lobby. If you're unable to connect to the network lobby, you may want to try the instructions at Djmaxtr.com.
One very, very important thing to note: once you've patched to the latest version, the USB key will NO LONGER work with previous versions of the game. Why is this important? Because they goddamn stuck a non-optional auto-correct crap into the game in one of those patches. You may want to search through the forum regarding the various opinions on the auto-correct crap before deciding whether to patch or not.
