I mentioned this before, but there's two things that really needs to happen if the PC portion of the franchise is to move forward:

1) Engine upgrade. I realize that full 720p FMV playing alongside a music game sound engine will make most PCs choke, but a compromise can be met somewhere. The worst part of Trilogy honestly is seeing the Your Own Miracle and Ask the Wind (Live) MVs castrated to 'fit' into the engine.

2) Many CE/BS songs being made longer. 2 minutes is fine - 1:30 is just a tad too short for a PC music game.

Those two things are no small undertakings. Just rendering/maintaining yet another setting for the MVs (right now there's PSP and Technika versions) at an acceptable filesize/quality compromise for 80-odd tracks, not to mention extending the MVs for songs that are lengthened is nothing to sneeze at.

That's just in terms of having content, of course. Feature-wise, I don't really care - as long as there's a new release I'd scoop it up.
