Now would be a time to learn how to solder. This was my first experience at soldering too. A Tracer is one of the lines that the wire is soldered to. Trust me its not hard to solder the sire back on at all. If you need to see how they are soldered to the sensor open up one of the other working panels and peel off the black tape that protects the wiring and get a visual.
