I took off the black tape and there doesnt seem to be any wires or anything, hell its the same thing as the right arrow with the tape removed. There seem to be wires under but I have no way to remove the sensor without breaking it or something.

EDIT: After putting the pad back together, the pad now seemingly works perfectly. I dont know how, all I did was remove the tape and put it back on but it works fine now. Im pretty baffled by this.
