There have been a lot of complaints about the remasters, especially for Rust In Peace. Apparently Dave re-recorded some guitar and vocal parts. I haven't heard both versions of any album to compare, but I've got the original version of Rust In Peace, so I see no reason to seek out the remaster.

I swear to god, if Greg Fidelman fucks up this band's sound on the new album, I'm going to flip out. I know I already said that. I DON'T CARE. I care this much. LISTEN TO THIS GODDAMN PRODUCTION. THIS IS HOW THE BAND SHOULD SOUND. It should NOT sound like World Painted Blood or Death Magnetic. It should not be clipping for 99% of the song.
