I know, double post, but I wanted to write this, since I'm up late at night, and before I go to bed, give the scoop on all the locations that I do know about in Houston and surrounding areas, for anyone who wants to visit and play DDR/ITG here.

Note: I don't know how much, if at all I will update this post, though I will give periodic updates in future posts whenever something changes.

Southeast:

Putt-Putt Funhouse (Webster)
ITG 2 (Upgrade)
Left pad is alright. Right pad is absolute crap, as the up and right arrows don't function a lot. I've been complaining about this for a month, and no fix has happened, at least not to what I have heard.
Solo 2000
Pad: Alright, though it seems to be going on the downturn.

Kemah Boardwalk Arcade (Kemah)
Extreme
Pads: Left pad's down arrow is really screwy, though it seems to only be problematic for good players. Right pad's down arrow is going on the downturn. No unlocks.

Tilt @ Mall Of The Mainland (Texas City)
Extreme (Megamix)
Pads are some of the worst I've seen.

Shockwaves @ Almeda Mall
Extreme
Pads: Alright. Haven't played it recently.
Supernova
Pads: Brand new machine, pads are in great shape.

North

Mountasia @ Willowbrook Mall
Extreme
Pads: Seem to be good or bad at times, I can't get up there much. Last report was that they were bad. Go at your own risk.

Mountasia @ Kingwood
Extreme
Pads: Seem to be going downhill.
Note: Last time I was there in March, the volume was turned down. Also the place now opens only on weekends, which could signal this place may be on its way out.

Tilt @ Deerbrook Mall
Extreme (Megamix)
Pads: Last time I heard, absolute crap.

Zuma Fun Center
Supernova
Pads are alright, but volume is low. Screen is stretched out.

Southwest

Namco Cyberstation @ Funplex
Extreme
I've been told the pads are going downhill. Monitor is not so good.

Zuma Fun Center
4th Mix Plus, Supernova
4th Mix Plus's pads are some of the worst I have seen. Supernova's pads are better, but not really that good.

Shockwaves @ West Oaks Mall
Extreme
This is the machine that was at First Colony Mall. Pads are really crap. Seriously crap.

Planet Zero Anime Center
Supernova
Pads are pretty good, though the right pad is better than the left. Don't let that scare you off. Though I suggest bringing a lot of money, as the machine costs approximately $1.25 or so. There are games you will not find anywhere else! This location is highly recommended to go to, there are large crowds, events, and this place does open late!

West

Tilt @ The Galleria
Supernova
Left pad is getting more caved in. Right pad is ok. Beware, they may not respond well at times. Best Supernova upgrade known in the city.

Tilt @ Memorial City mall
ITG 2 (Upgrade)
Not sure how the pads have been acting recently, but there may still be some I/O errors from the machine.

Times Square Entertainment (Katy)
Extreme
Pads were alright, but the machine didn't look to be in good condition. Someone check it out and give me an update if you can?

Tilt @ Katy Mills Mall
Extreme
Pads are absolute trash. Most people I don't believe play that machine, instead they play the home pads at Teahouse Express, which frequently hold tournaments every month or so.

So that is all for now.

Oh and I do have to say, Planet Zero will be having a DDR tournament on August 5. You can find more information on the mashharder.com forums. I am uncertain whether I'm going or not, but odds are I will be.
