I voted for 9 because playing songs that are too challenging aren't fun, too easy aren't fun. I play music games for the music, not the gameplay so I may even go lower for the 8's. This is on an ITG rating scale btw. DDR i just play the music I like regardless the fact that Bag is a 10 (I'm the old school 1x no bar player) and then also do stuff like V, Abyss, Burning Heat. Guess most of them fall to iidx -> ddr.
