And I'd agree with you on the generic part except that I've been through about 70 novelty Filipino songs and my God I have heard some of the most generic stuff ever, so I'm going to have to actually disagree with you on that. (Trust me, the "NOVELTY SUPER HITS SET" isn't at all "super.") I'd go with Don Romantiko or Pamela (or ANYTHING that involves Vhong Navarro) for something really generic. (Of course since I don't at all come close to fully understanding Filipino I don't usually know how generic the
lyrics are...) Actually with Lito Camo you don't have to go too far to look. All his songs have the same odd form in the chorus. And this song is by Lito Camo, so I can see where the "generic" comes from (also ABS-CBN promotes everything they do 24/7)
