Allow me to just state that you just used Virgo logic here - the exact quote she's used several times is "You have no right to an incorrect opinion" IIRC.
I'm very annoyed at you AND Zounder there, lrxevan, and to be frank both of you got pretty flat-out insulting in your posts to each other. BlueSS has implicitly suggested I not follow the penalty I stated in another thread. Yes, I'm aware that this is another case of me reacting to shit after it's concluded - it's called 'work' notice I said I was late for it when I posted this - and (if it uploaded right) also fixed Zounder's score (bringing him into the 'GO' range).
And IIRC, Strongbad Techno was my Tournamix
4 entry. I don't remember one in Tournamix 2 (though I've seen a ton of other ones).
According to the ODS, Azure Haights, your 7.5 is actually shown. o_O
Sorry discovolante for the e instead of a. Dunno why I did that (Again, I think).
lrxevan, you have your ideas for how to fix the contest up. When the Challenge Round ends and we get to the final vote, me or BlueSS will be setting up an Input thread, and I
am, in spite of what it may seem, interested in hearing your ideas, assuming you can state them in a reasoned form. Things have been run as they are for a reason, but some of those reasons have proven faulty and are likely to be changed.
Wowowee is sort of like Dragostea Din Tei pre-Numa Numa Dance when it comes to american audiences - it's very generic in it's homeland, but fairly novel to US audiences. Since the majority of the judges are from the US and Canada, this obviously skews our viewpoint to think of it as novel.
A fully anonymous competition could be fun, but unless I can figure out how to code up a custom MySQL DB for it, it'd be some rather nasty work. Perhaps run the competition on a 4chan-style Futaba board for a side comp as a theory test?
will-i-am, don't worry about having a fuck huge CDTitle - you're still not as bad as Tournamix 3 (I think)'s "Dragonfly" (where the person accidentially swapped the CDTitle and Banner).
Yeah, another generic long-ass post from me. I'll take the time to check the ODS and HTML more closely after sleep (I'm wide open Monday other than one hour dedicated - exclusively - to studying up on my Japanese and another for a few of my other classes, and hitting the UAA Bookstore to get my books for next semester).
There's also one last thing I wish to say. OSC5 has been the most frustrating DDR OSC experience for me since DDR SSX Mix, the predecessor to the OSC series (anyone here remember Voldwarth87 at DDRManiaX?), which was quite literally 100% stolen files. I've got a lot of ideas as to how to revolutionize it, and I will personally be making posts with ideas when a feedback thread is made at competition's end - OSC6, when it happens (keep in mind I'm one week from college

), is probably going to be VERY different on many levels. It's time that we took aspects of the competition we have previously ignored more seriously, time we got more engaged with the Bemanistyle community more, and most importantly, time we figured out how to make the whole thing more fun for all involved.
Random note: My favorite OSC, overall was Psychopath's Edition, followed by 3.
