PErsonally I think this computer is a total overkill for all practical purposes. Unless you want this computer to be a server, the price of the specs you specified does not go anywhere near justifying the benefits.
"Two 3GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon"
Most games do not take advantage of a dual processor system. Therefore while playing a game or using any application that doesnt support a dual processor system would most likely just cause the second CPU to idle and you would have wasted clock cycles. The only reason the DUAL CORE can function well without wasted clock cycles as a CPU on single processor systems is because there are two physical processor cores on die a silicon chip. The processing load is therefore reduced and calculation speed is increased without needing a more complicated controller chip. Some video editing programs support dual processing but if your career isn't video editing I dont think the measly time you save in that case is worth the cost of 2 dual core xeon. If you plan on running a server then this should suit you fine.
1 gigabyte of memory
You will definitely need more memory than 1 gigabyte. Most games require 2 more than 1 gigabyte. If you plan on running a server you will need way more than 1 gigabyte.
1 TB of disk space
I guess you could go with this. If I really wanted to i could fill 1 TB of disk space with porn in about 6 months but then I could always burn to DVD. You are using SATA which is good for games and video editing but if you are running a server, you might want to go Ultra 320 SCSI
2x Nvidia geforce 7300 GT
WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SLI TWO CRAPPY VIDEO CARDS LIKE THIS??? Unless you are not interested in gaming. Video editing and servers dont need great video cards. Then again if you are doing the latter you dont even need two video cards.
If you want a computer for general purpose around the house you could build a computer 1/3rd the price and last just as long.
BASICALLY
IF this is for a
Gaming computer.. CPU overkill probably not even most efficient, need more ram, need better video card
Video editing 3d graphics design.. Unless its your job, CPU not worth it, downgrade video card
Server.. More memory, upgrad HD to ultra 320 SCSI, downgrade video card
ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING
Nomi its not wiser to get 1 stick of memory. DDR2 I believe is a Dual Channel memory which is required to have pairs of memory sticks. You cannot have a single dimm for dual channel memory or you will get system crashes when the computer tries to access a memory slot that doesnt exist.
