Well sorry then, I was under the assumption that you were trying to build a gaming PC. I don't know much about video / 3d processing, however I know my father works with that kind of thing, and requires huge amounts of video memory. Like I said I don't know too much about it.
Really though, unless this is what earns you a living, I just see that as a complete waste of money. You might as well just tone it down and save yourself some money, then simply upgrade. The boost in power versus the cost, just isn't worth it. I buy a new computer every 1 1/2 - 2 years, and I do small upgrades between that time, boost ram, new vid card etc... |
