Signing up for braudjam... is it woth it?

I'm not sure if I'll put this in the audio forums or not but I was thinking of signing up but it costs a lot to do everything ya know? If you don't know what broadjam is, it's the people who hosted the contest to make a song for DDR.

I'm wondering because it looks like it could be really useful to have an account (a payed one 'cause the free one totally sucks). So I'm guessing it costs a lot because it has a lot of connections but the thing that's holding me back .. is well... it costs a lot. So any ideas?... maybe I will post this inthe forums as well...
