Boredom (recent game rant)

Not much Bemani playing this month, so I'll talk about everything else I've been playing. Right now I'm sorta in a "boredom" phase. All the games I play except for a couple are just not interesting to me anymore (this isn't including Bemani, I'd love to play nonstop). It could be that I get frustrated easily if I mess up, I'm not quite sure.
I occasionally play Garry's Mod on Steam, which if you haven't played it, it's like crack to me. There is no ending the possibilities of things you can do in that game. On WoW, I'm basically just waiting for the new expansion since my main character has done mostly everything except the very last few raid dungeons and I've given up on 2 alts that I only leveled to 40. I recently bought Boom Boom Rocket and Doom on XBLA and aside from the double-press streams on Hard in BBR and the fact I cant transfer weapons between episodes in Doom, they are quite fun. I'll just wait for my sister to come over so we can continue playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance (the buggiest game ever) and maybe some Doom co-op (not sure if achievements still unlock with co-op play).
I tried out Rock Band a couple times over a friend's house, just on drums because that's the only instrument of the 4 (bass a close second) that I am interested in, and I also borrowed Orange Box (all complete 'cept TF2 because I don't have a Gold card) and Bioshock which I'm progressing through. Those 2 games I have on PC as well.
My Wii is still collecting dust. Haven't touched it since I beat Twilight Princess after it came out (well, maybe just to update it to get rid of that flashing blue thing that wakes me up at night).
Oh and LOLI RIPE's new album ( <--- click ) owns face so go get it.

 | Oh Bioshock is pretty cool. I don't play those type of games, but I watched my friend play and it was cool. I saw that new WoW on G4 too. It lloks pretty cool. I saw Rock Band at Best Buy but never got to play it because fanboys were hogging it. xD jk... well people in general were playing it a while and I didn't feel like waiting. Also all they had was drums and a guitar and I wanted to see the bass guitar... I wonder how it differs from the normal lead guitar... Hmm... Orange Box... I'm sorry but when I hear that name I just think of some kind of fruit juice or some kid of new candy. I've never seen the game play but I'll go check it out. I don't have an XBox 360 but I do have a new PC with an X2 64 AMD (wish it was Intel) proccessor and a 512 grafix card so I should be able to run most of the games that get ported to the PC so yeah. I was actually thinking of getting into WoW maybe... |
