Maybe I'm just too old...

So I played some Pump It Up Zero...and on my second game, I could barely move my legs on a level 12. Man, I can't tell if I'm just too old or too fat these days. Maybe I should just stick to playing everything else.

Kinda nice to play solo though or with people that just don't give a rats nuts about scoring. I don't miss the ego of DDR/ITG/PIU players these days. It was nice when playing these games meant actually having fun, not trying to be competitive/childishly stupid about arrow stompy games (because zomg, getting a SS on VVV means your dong must be enormous).

I saw a guy freestyling on Supernova the other day at Gameworks, while one friend was like "omg look he's actually freestyling," I was like...that's actually kind of refreshing these days. No one gives a frack about FS'ing because apparently it's old and done before. But FSing at least is FUN. Show off a little while playing and just letting go, not really caring what your score is, looking better than the person next to you, just going out there and doing it.

What happened to all that?
