Perfect Hatred: Addeneum

I just read the first couple of pages from Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Twilight stole the journal formula from it, almost exactly.
I hate it. Hate it so much.
What happened to literature? It used to be amazing. Now we have shit like this.
My head hurts so much from all of this anger. It's from thinking so hard on how this book was even approved. Someone in the approvals department was a genius, saw all the emo sheep they could shove this onto. Someone knew this would make money no matter how shitty it is. I mean, it's a love story of an emo and a...er, "vampire" (who is also emo), and they go off and have emo adventures with all their emo friends.
Stephanie Meyer belongs in the Harlequin section, doomed to failure outside of the housewives that read those books. She doesn't deserve this hivemind, this smattering of attention and praise. She deserves almost nothing she's gotten out of these books.

No, these are not books.
They do not deserve the title of being a piece of art, a title of beauty.
They are z-fanfiction, but set in an original universe that's essentially every WB show ever.
I will not ever, EVER, refer to these...things...in the same fashion as Dracula.
They are undeserving.
