Today's Pre-Work Entry

Working 1:30-10:30 @ The Home Depot today, which, if you've never worked at a Home Depot, consists of answering 20 million questions along the lines of "Where can I find grout?" and "Can I return this without a reciept?"
To ease the boredom, I recently picked up a used DS from a friend. It has a skin on it (ugh, at least the skin is padded) and the center hinge where the two halves meet has that small crack in the side that all the DS hinges seem to get after a while, but it only cost me $55 and I think that makes it totally worth it. Immediately after, I bought Cooking Mama and FFXII Revenant Wings from the local Toys 'R' Us, because they didn't have any of the Pheonix Wright games >_<.
Anyway, I was digging through a giant tote bin of old toys and stuff in the closet looking for something to cure my sisters boredom, and I came across my old grey brick Game Boy with a copy of Pokemon Red inside. I remember how much fun I used to have playing that game, and thought it would be great if I could just relive those days of sitting on the aluminum bench at recess, cloning mewtwo and battling my friends. So I went back to TRU and picked up a copy of Pokemon Diamond. It is pretty sweet, bu t I would have thought that three generations of games would be enough time to enact some radical changes. Sadly, I was mistaken. Still fun, though.
Finally, the great thing about my DS is that it fits perfectly on the shelf immediately underneath the scanner for my register, so in between customers I levelgrind my pokemon and explore. Makes the day go by so much faster.
For convenience I'll post my friend codes for games, please PM me on the boards or catch me on AIM at "VampyrE TooL" (minus the quotes) and we'll play a game.
