Image: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v330/unknown_gamer/ddrx2title.jpg

Fresh off the heels of their recent United States CS releases, Konami has announced a location test for the Arcade version of DanceDanceRevolution X2. The location test will take place at Round One in Akihabara, Tokyo, about five minutes from the Akihabara station on foot. The hours are 10AM to 1AM from November 25th to December 3rd.

And, by the way, when this test was announced, it was the 20th of November Japan time. Just a coincidence?

As always, you can expect bemanistyle to report all the news from the location tests as it comes.

U-san, the Arcade director, also made a post regarding the X2 location test on the DDR FROM STAFF BLOG, which we've translated into English for you here:

It's been a while! Thank you for waiting, everyone!

I'll be going to the DanceDanceRevolution X2 location test. It runs from November 25th to December 3rd at the Round One store in Akihabara.

I'll see you again when we write our first report.
Bye!

Hi! I have been very interested in Pop'n music for a long time now and I finally have a job where I have some extra cash to spend on it. I've already bought pop'n music 2 and 5 but I have been a little stumped on where to find a affordable arcade controller for my PS1. I tried looking on the site here but any information I try to find is horribly outdated with dead links. So can anyone help me out? I am not too interested in the tiny one since I've heard it isn't as good since you need more space in between the buttons.

As title states, I have a Konami ASC for sale. It's a little dirty, but I can clean it up real easy. However, the spring in the button to disconnect the keys to change it from 1P-2P is busted, but you just have to smack it a little hard on the back and it'll come right out :)

All keys and the TT work as well as the day I bought it (somewhere in 2006 xD).

Asking $225 shipped.

Image: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y97/SporkSensei/CIMG0337.jpg

Oh, I accept Paypal only. I'll have it wrapped up and ready to go tonight, so just lemme know via PM ASAP, and you could be playing on this baby as early as next Wednesday (if the USPS decides to not suck). I will ship internationally, but I will need quite a bit more for the shipping costs.

Hi all, I just ordered a DJ Dao pop'n music ASC (after being into pop'n for about 7 years and never having enough money to buy one). I'm super excited, but I was wondering what common (and maybe not so common) problems people have run into and how they managed to fix them. I have done some electronic soldering work, so popped microswitches and maybe even disconnected wires might not be too hard for me. Just wondering what anyone else has run into and any tips on how to fix them. Thanks so much!
