I've got japanese running through my blood and i still like anime

I live in Japan (American) and I see people walking around with manga all the time. They have HUGE manga stores all over the place too.

being Japanese I say I still like it, to me a cartoon is a cartoon... I'm still used to everything that is animated being "anime." Sheesh you Americans and your "let's-call-all-Japanese-cartoons-anime" ways.
