Its great that you understand the fine line between what is considered a drawing and what is real. You (as in Dewgy) are one of the few sane people left as far as I'm concerned provided you don't actively participate in the viewing of it, which I'm fairly certain you don't.
The fact of the matter is, not everyone is like you. Some people spend all of their waking hours browsing 4chan, and other similar sites to look for the next thrill. They want to be disgusted, and they want to find the next big thing that can give them their fix (so to speak). It's a cycle that starts slowly but gets worse over time.
I guess my main issue then is, don't let it take a hold of you because I fear that worse can, and will happen. If you really don't care about that and wish to participate it in anyway, just realize that there was someone who tried to warn you.
I'm going to go on a bit of a seperate rant here...
The art has a sexual aspect to it, as does all of the stuff that usually frequents 4chan. It has an obvious affect on the people who view it. How can I tell? Look at the avatars and sigs of people posting above you. Look at the attitude that some may have over subjects like this. The lewd comments, the snide remarks in regards to women. As if everything was some sort of joke.
This isn't subject to FB, or any one place on the net unfortunately. It occurs everywhere. And I'm willing to believe that this sort of character change is due to not only loli, but other net trends. The thing is, it can't change, as far as I can see.
Also, what do you mean I am calling you a liar? If I accept your proposition that loli is ok, then we have come to an agreeable discourse? Otherwise if I disagree, then it's just me being intolerable and you're still right? What are you trying to imply? In the same way you are trying to convince me it's ok, I am also trying to convince you that it isn't.

Seriously. I go on 4chan quite a bit, though I rarely tread in /b/ (I much prefer /gif/ for my daily dose of flaming idiocy and any forms of shock humor I may occasionally want), I've browsed through not4chan and renchan on occasion.
Worse will happen? What kind of doomsaying is that? I'm not exactly of a weak mind here, about to be dragged under by the tides of peer pressure. You really think a whole lot has changed because of the internet? Because of 4chan and the like? I say take a fucking look at history dude. People have always been lewd and bawdy and raucous and ignored common decency when noone specific is involved. And the same fact of the matter is, for everyone involved, it pretty much is just all in good fun and humor. It's only a problem when someone misinterprets the intent and takes offense to it.
In other words, it's only a problem because you have a problem with it. Take a step back, look at what actually is happening, not what you think is going to happen as a result. They're very different, and there's far worse groups and intentions out there.
If you have a problem with people, that's not the internet's fault. People suck. People have always sucked. That's not about to change, because people in large part tend to be fairly stupid. To use a bit of an odd metaphor, you can't look at the bottom of the barrel and judge the rest as a whole solely from that. That's basically what you seem to be doing. Looking at the dregs and ignoring everyone involved who isn't a complete fuckwit.

Total Tokens: 4,276,498.41 Donate Tokens | Yeah, people suck. I've never debated that fact. People also suck who create such atrocious things like loli. And they make other people suck when they pull them into their own sick hobbies, creating a way to get into those interests.
What I see happening is increased violence, stories about rape, war, anger, unhappiness, you name it. I wouldn't of been going on such a long tirade had I not felt this way. I'm fed up with alot of stuff to tell the truth, and the attitudes of those who are "easy going" as you seem to be implying just propogate the negativity of everything around us.
It's easier to be a jackass on the internet mind you, because you can be somewhat anonymous. I'll agree with you that not much can be done to stop it completely, but much can be done to hinder the speed with which these attitudes and mindsets keep spreading. Not everything is a joke. Some people are assholes, but again, internet = anonymity. I long for the day when people would actually stand out in a crowd and spread their thoughts as they would do on the internet.
I guarantee you more than 3/4 of the people here that fequent this forum and admit to liking loli would stand out on a busy street with a sign depiciting an animated naked 7 year old. People just don't have that sort of real resolve or belief in what they like and would just as much prefer to hide and stay hidden in their hobbies than profess publically like that. It's an out there example, but so far the examples have been pretty out there anyway.
Again and again, you keep saying that this is just how it is, and people suck. I agree. But you leave it at that, and act as if nothing can be done. It's an OH WELL attitude. I am of the group of people that believe that with a bit of proactiveness something can be done, even if its too little too late. Laws making loli illegal (which as of now doesn't actually seem to be as big of a deal as everyone made it out to be), would be a single step towards fixing that problem.
Anyway, post some hot 18 year old chicks. I'm getting tired of this back and forth.
