The only drama here is that why aren't you doing good enough so you can leave early? The fucking ace students at my high school got to do only TWO periods in their Senior year. I could have managed four periods if my algebra 2 teacher wasn't so fucking gay with his talking or his work.

I won two elections in Government based on charisma alone (class and school, in a mock presidential election, with no "commercial" or posters, just a speech.)

I failed said class, ironically.

I could fill a small book with stories from my high school. The best part is that if you go back to said school, I swear to god, any teacher on campus can confirm them... and probably tell some I forgot.

The main thing that sucks about High School is that for all four years until you're done with it, you're led to believe that all of the bullshit child drama and time-wasting is over with and stays at High School.

And it doesn't.

High School might be interesting for a week or so but if you're a rebel like soji and I you begin to hate everything about it soon enough.

I wrote for the school newspaper.
I bribed my way onto the ballot for homecoming queen.
I made people cry during 9/11.
I graduated probably bottom ten in my class with a scholarship that pays for my first two years of college in entirety.

high school was nice because it was big fish->small pond.

You make a few good friends, hopefully. Sometimes youll do some neat shit. I have a few teachers are completely awesome and make learning FUN! But i go to a private boarding school. i dont even want to imagine public high school.
