also i write neater when i hold my pencil in between my fore and middle fingers, but meh

My physics teacher always tells us to firmly grasp the pencil whenever we're about to take a test. It cracks up my friend sitting next to me every time.

I always had the opposite problem with my handwriting.

It's legible...but it's very neat and bubbly, so every god damned time I'd forget to put my name on my paper or something, I'd have to endure the teacher going "Okay....whose paper is this? It doesn't have a name, but the handwriting looks like it belongs to a girl."

Which at the point, I'd be like "FUCK." and raise my hand. And it being high school, everyone in class is like "ZOMG UR A GURL. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLOLOLOLL"

Yes, my classmates talked in txt-speak.

Cursive sucks balls, at least for me. My cursive is so god damn illegible, if I start to take notes in it, I have to go and immediately re-write it in print while I can still remember what I wrote.

My print is still pretty fucking atrocious, too. Back in elementary school, I have had teachers tell me that my writing was downright bad. Imagine being in 6th grade and having a teacher tell you that your handwriting is some of the sloppiest writing she has come across.

But I have to say, it was horrible then, and still is now. Which is why I will be taking notes in Microsoft Word or some note taking program when I am in college.

My handwriting is both cursive and print at the same time. It's sort of like a combo. It's print because all of the letters are block letters, but it's cursive because I don't lift my pen[cil] up a lot, so the letters end up being connected with a series of blotchy ink lines.
