I laughed when I heard about the Micro. This miniaturization trend has got to be curbed somewhere.

Ok, so through your suggestions and my personal preferences I think I have comprised a list of the games I would like to acquire on top of those that seem really keen and I would probably buy, and even those coming in the near future.

So, this is for me so I can organize my stuff, but feel free to criticize or input any other suggestions based on this list:

Mario and DK 2
New Super Mario Bros
Metroid Hunters
Phoenix Wright
Tetris DS
Mario Kart DS
Mario + Luigi 2
Trauma Center
Wario Ware Touched
Mario 64 DS
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

Stuff that isn't out yet, but I see myself purchasing:

Final Fantasy III
Children of Mana
FF Crystal Chronicles DS
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
Lunar Nights (Boktai DS sequel)
Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

And file these games under "mebbes":

Elite Beat (Ouendan US)
Yoshis Island DS
Any Brain Game (which is better?)
That clubhouse game? I'd only get it to play with you guys since games like that don't really entice me.
Anything else?

Obviously, I'm going to get the Final Fantasies for GBA, and I'm also picking up Summon Night 2 in a few days... So it looks as though I'm not going to actually be buying a DS game for a while, unless the price is right, or I get birthday money/surprise DS games =P.

I'm still trying to decide if I should buy a DS. Best thing about it is that it's region free. I might get one for Christmas. I want Phoenix Wright and Trauma Center.

I wanna get a DS Lite as my silver SP is starting to cough up blood. The only thing that's holding me back is the inability to play my old GB/GBC games. :<

If I were able to throw down Zelda's Awakening DX or the Final Fantasy Legend, I'd buy it right now.

I still have my SP for connectivity to the GC and for GB games (plus for playing GBA games in places where I wouldn't want to take my Lite.

No one ever said you had to get rid of your previous portable to get a new one.

Problem is my previous portable is dying a slow painful agonizing death.

Ditto on Mario and DK 2. The levels are so easy you have to make them good yourself in the level create mode. On the Brain games they are both $20 but if you had to pick one I'd say Brain Age.

Also Phoenix Wright still not listed. Unless that's not your kind of game, that's cool too.

I played DK King of Swing and was entertained for quite a while. That might also be a good choice.

Isn't that a GBA game though?

I was thinking more along the lines of DS games. I've pretty much narrowed down all of my must-have gba games to the ones I own currently, and to the upcoming Final Fantasies. The only gimmicky turn games I own are wario ware twisted, and I think thats pretty much all I need =p

You're thinking of Gyabanton Saibon for the GBA. Only released in Japan.

There's a second King of Swing coming out for the DS soon.
