If you use Firefox, just use Rikaichan instead. It works really well; it's like on-demand hover Rikai as you read along. Saves a lot of copy-pasta pains in the ass.

That's a program that adds "ruby text" (furigana) to the top of kanji. The furigana is the pronunciation of the kanji. If you have Rikaichan, you really shouldn't need this - after all, it is a program you have to install, and copy-pasting the text into AT and then finding out what the pronunciation actually means is quite slow compared to a hoverbox which has all the information already.

This is useful with a Katakana/Hiragana chart (if needed), and if you know some of the groupings of Japanese text, especially with kanji characters. All you have to do is copy and paste Japanese text under "OR enter a block of text to add hints to...", where there is pronounciations shown in Hiragana with an English definition next to it. However, sometimes it doesn't work for certain types of speech.
