Marketplace Rating: 3 | I Think This Forum ESPECIALLY Needs a Few More Mods No offense to -Miz-, but you can't expect him to be online 24/7, so nothing seems to have been put in the database for a while now. Most of the lyrics are being pushed off onto Page 2, where hardly anyone goes, so I suggest to have a few new mods here, just to get things done quicker.
I know that I might come off as cheeky but I think this place is lacking Mods, as places like DDR -Dancing Stage- Forums have far from few. This is the forum that is probably used the most (well for me anyway) and it's just a pain to make people do the work without getting any recognition from it.
Please at least consider my idea. You don't have to agree to it or anything, it's just a simple request.
Thanks,
Ben Speirs 7.0

(Also, you need people who are willing to make enemies by saying "No, I'm not going to put your ADVANCE lyrics in the database, go back and read the rules thread" -_^ )

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I correct some stuff but I'm no where near good at Japanese (still learning and use the dictionary a lot :P) but I do try to enforce some rules around here like -Miz- said.
I think we need an accepted lyrics subforum so it makes it easier to see what hasn't been accepted yet. I'm going to add that now.

Maybe you could have like, language-specific mods, such as English only, Japanese only, or a mixture of the 2.
Yeah, I realise that if some mods don't really know what they're doing the database will be filled up with crap that nobody needs, so they have to have some experience in the Lyrics forum anyway, so you can't just hire some random guy, even if he know Japanese or not.
And making enemies is possibly the worst thing. I mean, I could do it, but I would feel quite bad afterwords. But I guess if it's against the rules, you have no choice so you can't feel too guilty
EDIT: You would also need people with a ot of tokens. If they don't have much, then people would get no reward.

I find the lyrics and open them up in Notepad. I play the song and change it very slightly to what it says if it's wrong. Then I divide each Verse up and copy the whole lot into this box right here.

EDIT: And regarding your first sentence, I for one have a library of over 500 songs, but they are DDR only. Saying that I'm sure some people have 1000s of songs from DDR to Pop'N.

I know about 300-500 kanji by heart and have tools like dictionaries and kanji dictionaries that I am experienced at using properly. Also, I have a good grasp of English, critical in providing good translations.
- I've translated Japanese lyrics before.
- Not only am I willing to make enemies, I'm certain I already have.
