Default About PSPRevolution

Well, I've been playing PSPR for a while now and I've just now downloaded DoLL. I noticed that there was an AVI file in the folder that it was the same movie background in SuperNOVA. I tried renaming it to DoLL, but when I started the game, the screen was just black. I heard the background music, but nothing on the screen. How am I supposed to make the movie play in PSPR? =[

*sigh*
You can't have Background videos for PSPR. It's too much for the PSP to handle.
It CAN support songs with different background changes though, but AVIs are out of the question.

Hehe, well I got heavenly star to somewaht work from the sight read, although none of the other files videos do, I tried putting heavenly star in with Cyber Force and Rise'n Beauty, no luck, there must be a way to like encode the movie with the simfile.

EDIT: Oh wait that was the FAIL sign,...NVM no videos!

also this would belong in the DDR simulation forum.

Please note this in case you need to make a thread about PSP Revolution.

I know there's some way because if PSP couldn't handle vids in the background, PIU wouldn't have them... nor would DJ Max... although I think those are rendered real time....

Also, PSPR falls off sync... try playing harder songs on a faster speed... you'll see.

Now if someone could just get PSPR to read 5 panel charts...

Yes, but even with that latest version, they left out so much I don't consider it a game. Especially stuff that I really wanted and or expected in it. e.g. Witch Doctor, Try to BPM LIADZ, AoD CZ, Chimera CZ, Witch Doctor #1 CZ, and a lot of Hard charts that could have been accurate.

Not to mention the game lagged like no other unless you ran CFW and overclocked your system.

It's too bad no one has the source to PSPR. Adding in 5 panel would be an easy mod. Considering it was based off of Stepmania (I think).
