From what I've played so far, this game is freaking amazing. The controls are extremely responsive, the covers are awesome (Latin especially), and it has a respectable songlist.

It sounds so cool to hear "That's the Way (I Like It)" go from it's original form to marching band and back.

Also, "El Sentir Bien Inc.".

I like the idea, but at the same time it's kinda shoddy.

Like, the actual idea of music expressed in various genres is awesome- but the overall gameplay looks really shitty.

Can you also choose the genres to switch between? Like, Marching Band vs. UK, or is it forced to be the two same genres against each other on every song?

It's not a bad game, it just tends to get a bit boring later on, once you beat all the songs.

In the Free Play mode (Versus, whatever), you can choose a different genre for each song if you wish to, like Marching Band vs. Latin one time and then Rock vs. Country the next.
