i tried to use xlink kai, you need a wireless adapter (wifimax or similar, which i didnt have) and even then it seemed kinda complicated, i hope you figure it out

I find it funny how the person on vavay posted but provided not a single source. There's even people calling it a 'fake' in the replies, if Google Translate is to be believed. I went to Neowiz and Penta's main websites and there isn't any news there either x____X~ I really hope it's true, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you T_T.

S4's getting an English EU release though, which is happy enough news for me in the meantime XDD...(they need to add those BGM songs to DJMAX if they DO resurrect it/redesign/whatnot).

Apparently, DJMax Online is still up if your in Korea...

During the interview it is mentioned that the game is still in service, although the player base isn't that great. Plus the fact (although already addressed earlier) that Neowiz is expanding their licenses out of Korea with S4 might mean that we will be seeing these titles around the world as time progresses (slowly, but progressing)

You also cannot forget the fact that EA actually has a stake in Neowiz so chances are that these titles might be launched through them in some fashion...

Not a whole heck of a lot, especially with the open beta of EZ2ON opening soon, but it's still a little bit of hope for the DJMAX crowd ^^. I really hope they go through with that S4League portable too, lol. Anyhow~~~~

I hope Alaplaya won't mind the fact that some of us (from the United States) might be jumping on to try S4 League. Seems easier to play over trying to get into the Korean servers. DMP3 sounds good, just hope they find a way to stop cheaters from ruining the leaderboards which might make it a challenge from a portable device standpoint since you can cheat on both the PSP and the DS, though the DS is more difficult.

PS: I'm not a leaderboard kind of guy, but it is fun to post scores on there and let them know we still play it. If you have a score/combo (even if your combo is 1) post it and show you still play it. Might be easier to convince a localization that way, but region free gaming is still a win.

I don't see why they would mind, seeing as they have US subscribers for the other games they host already ~! I really hope they do a Prestige/Orpheus type deal-y for DMP3 -AND- S4League that has soundtracks for both games. Just so long as they don't pull the annoying stunts they did with the other ones, lol.

Ditto to the cheating x_x;. I think that's why they were so retarded about game saves for DMP2 x_____x;;;;;. Kills me now, since I've unlocked so much using an alternate PSP, and now I gotta go and do it all again on my shiny new PSP ^^;;;;;. Oh well, right? Maybe the forced practice will help me get better at 8B, lol XD. I'll see about posting my combo/score/whatnot though, because I agree that that's really the only way we can show our continued support of the game TT.

A pity we can't pester EA into taking an interest, what with that article you plugged stating that they bought shares in Neowiz :x.

LOL, I just used the wikipedia link for DJMax 2 Portable and it shows the site so guess we have a sense for whatever Metro happens to be. This might actually be separate from DJMP3 though even if X360 gets a version so theres still a possibility. The 360 speculation has been around awhile but the tight lipped approach usually leaves speculation with/without rumor control.

Honestly I think the 360 over a console like the PS3 is a bad move because of a few things...

1) The controller, the D pad is awful for music games with lots of diagonals. EZ2DJ has been sued before for copying the Beatmania controller so chances are we won't see another peripheral.
2) No region free + poor 360 sales in Asia. Theres a chance the game itself might be region free but I don't think it will happen. The PS3's blue-ray can play all regions (although DLC is more difficult) so people could still experience without another $200 white brick lying around.

It would get me to renew my Gold membership, but until more details I'll be playing Portable 2 some more.

Also noticed that the monthly high scores have stopped reseting as of the end of March so I guess the future of DJMax is coming!!!
