Well it is not that i say this game sucks. It is just not my style.

However, if this Game will have an Beatmania/IIDX style Controller, i will buy it in an heartbeat(the only way in europe to get finnaly such an controller).
But dont worry, i will use the Controller only for the PC

Of course, I'm siding with Activision on this one for having the balls to produce a copycat game. After all, Konami's litigious actions just shows how scared Konami is of competition, especially when another gaming company like RoXoR is able to out-do Konami on one music game (In The Groove anyone?)

Actually knowing Activison they're paying Konami royalties for this. Chances are this game will probably be actually pretty fun, and start massive flames wars between the two camps: the beatmania/IIDX camp and the Scratch camp.

It will sadly come to pass that you'll never be able to choose to like both, because you'll get heavy flak from both sides. It's already this way with GF and GH.

DJ Hero is a COMPLETELY different game, and it's supposedly still in the works. It's said to not play at all like beatmania, and probably will be a lot closer to crackin' DJ.

IGN did an interview with the guys who are making this game, and they claim to be pretty aware of the community at large. Not sure if that means they read sites like ours (where you guys are quick to piss on anything that isn't made by Konami, which is absolutely retarded) or just the larger sites.

Seriously, how do you guys expect rhythm games to get better in regards to what you want to see from them if all you do is piss an moan about them before they even come out. Konami clearly doesn't have much interest in the US market in terms of beatmania, but these guys do (even if it's 5-key). Maybe you should all wait until more info, or gameplay videos are released before shooting it down.
